The Vision of the Growing Food Security Council of Southwest Alberta is of a caring community in southwest Alberta where all people have the right to adequate, accessible and nutritious food and thereby the opportunity for better health and quality of life.

Mission
The Growing Food Security Council of Southwest Alberta is a coalition of agencies that strives to achieve food security through:
· educating;
· advocating; and
· influencing change
within governing bodies and the communities who elected them using a common voice and message.
